What Dominik has been doing since back in CA!

Emptying every drawer. / Really wanting his own Evian bottle. 

Shaking and hitting this vase over and over again. 

Racing to the top of the stairs. / Tasting every plug and USB cable. 

Playing with the dogs. 

Being Cute. / Turning the volume to '11'. 

Enjoying his ProFleece PJ's and egg breakfast. 

Eating grass, rocks, mud . . . . anything and everything!!!!

A stocking for Christmas!

Finding Dominik the perfect Holiday stocking!

So my mom made my stocking in 1976. It was a Bucilla Felt kit. Nowadays not so easy to come across except on Ebay or an Estate Sale. So I have been searching Ebay for months and finally found one that was similar. 

SEPTEMBER!

We spent half of the month of September in AZ and the other half back in CA. Daddy flew to AZ to drive home with Mommy and Dominik. 

Dominik is adapting to life back in CA.
He's enjoying the wind in his face and the cool weather.  He has taken to eating the grass and dirt in the backyard.
He picked up a new skill while in San Francisco . . . . Dumpster Diving. His new FAVE!

Grandpa and Grandma Simon's visit! 

Uncle Jason made the trip too. 

Lucky for us we get to see him a lot - since he lives in AZ!!!!

AUGUST!

Finally ~ the wedding is here!

On August 11, 2012 in Modesto, CA 

Tess Mariah married Connor Douglas Johnson. 

It was beautiful!!!!

Grandpa and Grandma Bayersdorffer drove up from AZ to attend. They stayed for a week and then Dom and I drove back to 

AZ with them. 

Domink had so much fun crawling around my parents house. He pulled everything off the shelves in the pantry and set out to destroy everything in his path!

We got to see a few storms while we were there. Always a highlight! 

Playdates! We got to see lot's of friends and kiddos 

while in AZ. 

Grandma Bayersdorffer's Birthday! 

August 26th is my mom's birthday. 

We had a big party for her 70th Birthday! 

We were so busy having fun at the party we didn't take any photos . . . .

Dominik started crawling this month. He has been on the move like crazy!

We celebrated Pia and Anthony's b-days! And Dom had his first 'real' injury. He face planted out the back door on to the concrete. He was fine and healed by the next day!

Secret Wedding Project!

Hanging Flower Backdrop!

So . . . . one of the projects for C and T's big day was this Flower Backdrop.   Of course they could have bought it from 

BHLDN for $1800 or we could just make it. 

It's really not that hard ~ just time consuming. 

Everyone played a part in helping. 

Materials needed: Card Stock, Anthropologie Tissue Paper, Parchment Paper, Thread, scissors, pencil 

and a Large Stick from neighbors yard.

FIRST Family Photos!

We wanted to take FULL advantage of having a PRO-photographer staying with us . . . . so one night in June ~ Connor Johnson took some great shots of The Meltzer FAM! The sun sets around 9:45pm in June in Northern California. 

So that means a late photo-shoot. 

Dominik is 8 months old!
